I travel often to visit my life and business partner, so you'll have the apartment to yourself for extended periods. Occasionally, I teach one on one art classes from my living room during the day, but it's not a regular occurrence.
The apartment is incredibly quiet and conveniently located just two blocks from the 72nd Street subway station (2, 3, and 1 lines). We're also close to Trader Joe's, Fairway, and Citarella, with Central Park and Riverside Park just a short walk away.
Your room is a comfortable, medium size with a full wall of closet space. While I love animals, I don't have pets in the city, though my partner's well-behaved dog might visit for an overnight stay from time to time.

Super convenient and beautiful location. Large prewar apartment to share. Your own private bedroom in extra quiet 2-bedroom/1-bathroom flat. Unusually large, fully-equipped kitchen. Very relaxed vibe. I’m self employed and work from home during the week. I’m out of town a lot.
Close to Hudson River, Riverside Park, Central Park, Beacon Theatre, Fairway, Citarella, Trader Joe’s and express/local trains at W 72nd Street. Many bus routes available as well. This neighborhood is one of the best in the city with so much to offer.
This is a smoke-free apartment. Sadly, no resident pets. A friend's dog visits on occasion.
Looking for a like-minded person. No heavy partiers, Tinder/Grindr enthusiasts or Trump supporters. Common areas are always neat and clean. What happens in your room is your business.
Rent includes the following:
-House-cleaner every other week. She will clean your sheets, towels, make your bed, dust and vacuum your room.
-Wifi. (I cut the cord and do not have a cable box. If you want cable you can add for whatever the going rate is with Spectrum. There is Roku for the living room TV.)
-All cleaning supplies, paper products (toilet paper & paper towels) and ziplock baggies.
