About Me

Hi! My name is Dionysus and I'm an infosec professional currently on sabbatical looking to move from Lancaster to Philadelphia. My current lease ends at the end of January so I'm looking to move in ASAP. I am more than happy to pay for January rent, prorated or not so that I can start to move in slowly rather than overnight. I want to move because I'm a performing artist and my congregation is in Philly. I am a member of The Satanic Temple and I volunteer as the head of Menstruatin' for Satan. There's not a lot of opportunities for me to perform in Lancaster and it's been increasingly difficult to particpate in religious activities being so far away. I thought Philly was a lot closer when I originally moved to Lancaster. I have been working from home since 2019 and am very much so a homebody. I rarely have guests, let alone overnight ones. I can't remember the last time I partied, but I don't mind those that do. I don't really drink but I do have my mmj card. I want everyone to be comfortable so I'm more than happy to use outside but it would be nice if there was some variety of semi-covered outdoor place for me to do so. If vaping is allowed inside, that would be amazing but my priority is making sure everyone in the house is comfortable. As I am on sabbatical to brush up my portfolio and pursue aggressive inpatient treatment for my eating disorder, I do not have the traditional two paystubs that most landlords require. However I am living very comfortably on my the liquidated stock from my employer and my side hustle. I have about 50k in savings. My credit score is roughly 715, I have never been evicted, nor have I been late or missed a rent payment in my life. I have lived alone in my one bed apartment for the past 4 years and think a roommate might be good for me, so long as they can tolerate my peculiarity. I am autistic and need open and frankk/blunt communication. I jump to correct any behaviors people don't like but I am awful at picking up hints. If you see something you don't like, say something. I am of average cleanliness but due to my disabilities I am sometimes less clean than I'd like to be. To remedy this I have hired a cleaner in the past if life gets to be too much. I am more than happy to foot the bill for one if needed. My last one was $200 once a month and he was a lifesaver as I was burning myself out working 16+ hour days. I have a cat, snake, and dermestid beetle colony. I could get an ESA for my cat but I prefer not to get things off on the wrong foot so I normally pay a pet deposit and pet rent as needed. My cat is FIV- and up-to-date on all vaccines. My snake is scared of her own dinner. I do have a biohazard freezer that I keep my snake's dinner in as well as the various hit and run animals I feel obligated to give pauper's funerals for. As I said, I am incredibly odd but harmless. I care immensely for the dead, particularly those that have no one else to care for them. I guess you can write that off on myself being goth but I really just have a big heart. I'm a nervous nellie by nature and am quiet 99% of time. I do occasionally like to bump tunes but I understand that that's a privilege of living alone haha. As I work from home and am a homebody, I am looking for something that's spacious while still being fairly close to downtown/South Philly. I am single and intend to keep it that way for the forseeable future. I rarely have guests let alone overnight ones but I don't care if you do. I'm not much of a partier though I am fond of board and video games. Parties don't bother me so much, but heads up would be nice if it's going to be loud or crowded. Major bonus points awarded to roomies that will let me put my pole up in the living room as I doubt my bedroom will have space - I'll even teach you some party tricks in exchange. It's tension based so there's no damage to the apartment but I also will not sweat it if it has to stay in storage until I save up enough to own a home. I'm very much so the artsy, creative, free spirited type. Due to my physical disabilities I rarely cook, but I will still need access to a fridge, freezer, oven, and microwave for leftovers and quick to eat meals. Major bonus points to roomies who are willing to split chores so that I do what they hate (usually the bathroom) and they do what I hate (the gotdamn dishes) but I am also perfectly happy to clean my own messes if you do the same. I am non-binary and pansexual but am far from the pronoun police. I am very much so the live and let live type. Any place with an outdoor space so that I can do some of my art projects that require excessive ventilation would be amazing. I prefer my own bathroom due to my IBS but can make it work with a shared one. I am an open book and more than happy to answer any and all questions. I'm fine with a virtual meeting if requested prior to meeting in person. I would like to see the space I am renting before I make anything official but I am absolutely willing to sign and pay on the spot after a tour. Don't hesitate to reach out, I am weird but friendly :)
