Looking for a Roommate – 2BR / or 1/2BA in Manhattan, 1 year lease

Hi! I’m Neil, and I’m looking for a roommate to find and share a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment in Manhattan. Ideally, I’d love for us to actually be friends, not just people who split rent. Like spending time together playing games, going to restaurants, drinking together etc.

A bit about me:

I work in consulting. I’m in the office Tuesday through Thursday (9–6) and work from home Mondays and Fridays, but I keep to my room on those days, so you’ll barely notice I’m there
Weekends are a mix: some nights I’m out at bars with friends, others I’m happy staying in with a movie or video games
I play pickup soccer most Sundays, and you’re welcome to join if you play
I’m not big on hosting myself beyond a few friends hanging out casually, but if you want to throw a party now and then, I’m totally fine with it

Where I’m at:
I’ve just started looking, so I’m flexible. If you already have a place in mind, I’d love to tour it with you. If not, we can search together.

What I’m looking for:

Neighborhood: Manhattan
Budget: $2,500/month per person, flexible up to $3,000 for the right place and the quality is really worth it like inclusive of amenties like gym, W/D in unit or building, etc.
Move-in: ASAP, ideally November
