Chase C - $1,100/month

Hi all! Our names are Chase, and Raleigh, we’re two friends – and a dog named Chester! – planning to move to Crown Heights, Brooklyn (9/1 or 9/15). We are excited to move but had a roommate back out last minute so are again looking for 1-2 more roommates with a budget of $1,100 per person.

We are queer and trans artists that hope to live with other queer/trans folks, but likely not other pets (feel free to reach out with inquiries anyway). We are stoners and drink occasionally. When we have time we enjoy cooking together and hosting, and would love to share those joys with you! We value open and intentional systems of communication and equitable distributions of household responsibilities. We also dearly hope to befriend the people we live with!

Chase (they/he, 22) - I’m an elementary age arts educator and barista! I’m also a painter that loves to spend time with friends, look at bugs, read, and camp. How much I’m home varies by the season, but weather permitting I like to do a fair amount of adventuring around with friends! I tend to be a night owl, but in a calm way where I don’t wanna keep anyone up. My bedroom will be in a perpetually chaotic state but I keep common spaces clean😎 I’m generally pretty social and love to yap, but also cherish rest and alone time.

Raleigh (they/them, 21) - I’m a barista/dog walker and I love music, art, and cooking <3 I also love to sing and sometimes do so around the house. I’m somewhat of a homebody and rarely travel because of Chester. I tend to prefer being up early/working mornings but am a night owl by nature. Either way I keep things quiet while others are resting! I’m pretty social/chatty but enjoy quiet/alone time equally. I do my best to keep common spaces clean, especially the kitchen :)

Chester (5 to 9 y/o, Raleigh’s ESA) - Chester is a wire-haired chiweenie mix and a really sweet guy, most of the time he enjoys hanging out on the couch or in his beds! He is a rescue with lots of anxiety that has a hard time being home alone but is really well behaved. He’s house trained and doesn’t chew things or steal your food. I ask that potential roommates be willing to get him in/out of his kennel if you’re the last to leave/first home, and take him outside to pee if needed. If it’s preferred he can absolutely be kept out of bedrooms (though he is a great snuggler). And trust he’ll always be an excited greeting committee when you get home!!
