I work in social services at a homeless shelter and am passionate about making a world that works for everyone. I was born in Colorado but have lived in Washington for the last 18 years in many locations on the west side of the state. I have a passion for food, music, community, and stories. I am an avid reader and writer and I love to watch movies as well. During our beautiful summers I am very active outdoors, I like to camp and kyak when I can. A float down the Snoqualmie is mandatory. Overall I am gone a lot during the week as I work 4 10 hour shifts, and generally jusy come home and rest. When I am home, I love to cook, so would appreciate someone who is down to share a meal and maybe is also a foodie. I value Compassion, Empathy, Courage, vulnerability, connection, Love, Beauty, Justice, and JOY. I do my best to cultivate gratitude as my way of interacting with the world around me and myself.
