I am living with my parents in Michigan and I am looking to move to the Dallas area to be part of Watermark Community Church. A friend shared some of their messages with me in January 2019, and I have been learning so much from them since then. There aren't any church communities in the area here that I am confident in serving with and giving to, and I am not currently prepared to start/lead one myself.
This April, I started a non-profit service offering free financial planning and education for the purpose of democratizing professional financial planning in order to help end generational poverty and share the gospel through the relationships I get to build. My website is captainministry.org. My income from it is donation-based and I don't receive much money from it. Until Captain ramps up, I plan to do gig work (Shipt, Uber, Lyft, etc.) as necessary, but my ultimate goal is to have my schedule completely open for Captain, as I believe it can help revolutionize the financial services industry in America for the glory of God.
I applied for the Homeshare program through Shared Housing (https://www.sharedhousing.org/homeshare.html), as that would allow me to live somewhere near Dallas for free in return for chores around the house, but they said they have slowed down a lot since covid.
Thank you for reading!
