About Me

Hi, I am renting a second bedroom in my cozy home in the Berkeley neighborhood of Northwest Denver.

The house is conveniently located only 3 blocks from Tennyson Street (shops and restaurants, etc.) It’s only 10 minutes from downtown, Rhino and I-25. About 5 minutes to I-70.

I've owned the house since 2005. It has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a large yard with a small storage shed and plenty of extra space for storage in the basement/laundry room. There is street parking that is convenient access to the front of the house and usually one open spot in the back of the house.

I am a mature, female marketing professional in my late 40’s. I work from home most days. I like to keep things clean and tidy but I'm not overly OCD. I’m understanding when you might be rushed and not have time to clean up right away. I sometimes have to leave things in the kitchen sink to clean up later in the day. I like to have fun but usually only have one party per year at the house and prefer someone that is quiet and not a big partier.

My ideal tenant is mature, respectful, honest, considerate, responsible and clean. I prefer a non-smoker and someone without a lot of things or pets. The house is already fully furnished, except for the extra bedroom. I’d prefer someone that is an animal lover as I have one cat that is 20 years old (101 in cat years)! He’s pretty low key but likes to be in the same room as other people (whether I am there or not).

I’m asking $900 for rent as this includes the utilities. (even though the costs are usually higher in the winter). Since sharing the common space and bathroom, it would be nice to have someone that is also able to contribute to some of the regular household items such as cleaning supplies, etc.
The room/house is available beginning March 1. 2020. But, if necessary, this date can be somewhat negotiable depending on your situation.
Required upon approval: $850 security/cleaning deposit (returned upon cleanliness when move out + $850 for March rent)
