I’m Etienne, your new New Yorker who just started an exciting 18 month adventure in the big apple.

Fresh out of Paris, I’m currently on the hunt for a spot in Manhattan, preferably below Harlem, where I can take over/sublease a room in an apartment with 2-3 equally awesome roommates (that way I’ll have plenty of people to complain about how high the rent is). My current budget is about $2K monthly, negociable depending on how cool the apartment and your negociations skills are.

Ideally, roommate-wise I'm looking for people who are:
- In their mid 20's / early 30’s
- Open to share some fun times together, while still respecting personal time
- Breathing (optional - hey, as long as you pay rent)

Now a bit about me: I am basically a weird mix between a Golden Retriever and a capybara.
I really love a good laugh and quirky people who don’t take themselves too seriously. Always down for whatever, I’m very chill and easygoing, and love music; listening, dancing, partying, playing, singing - you name it (fair warning: probably not the best at yodeling).

Though I can be goofy, I still really enjoy having some deep and meaningful conversations with the right people. I love to meet new fellows and connect through learning about each other, and I’m sure this city is full of interesting people.

Not a hardcore gamer, but a good old Smash Bros or Mario Party showdown is always welcome (I will win anyway).
Also love hitting the gym pretty regularly, so having one inside the building would be epic - not a must though.

Food-wise, I have mastered the art of overcooking croque-monsieurs to a crisp. But I make some decent appetizers for get togethers and whatnot.

Also I freaking love dogs.
