About Me

I moved to NYC about a year ago to follow a new career path. While I've been living on my own since then, I'm looking to find a roommate to help cut down on costs. My lease currently expires on May 26th, so I'm looking to find a place with someone shortly before that. I've currently got a one-bedroom that's fully furnished, so you just need to bring stuff for your own room.

I work in the Financial District downtown, and am looking ideally for someone who wants to live there, or a short subway ride away. I've unfortunately been spoiled by a 7 minute walk to work on Maiden and Nassau, and would prefer to have something similar. I can be flexible, though.

I'd describe myself as a laid back gamer. I probably spend a bit too much time in front of my computer. On the plus side, I'm fairly quiet, and often keep to myself. I do like board games and tabletop RPGs for socialization. While I'm not exactly a "partier," I do drink socially, and don't mind smaller gatherings at home. Also should note, I'm gay, and have a long-distance boyfriend in LA. I usually go out to see him at least one weekend a month. I'm also usually the type to offer my couch to family or friends who are visiting the city, though not for longer than a couple days.

I like to keep the common areas reasonably tidy, but I'm not quite a neat freak. That said, I'm happy to be accommodating if you prefer things more neat. I believe good communication is important in any relationship, whether friends, SOs, or roommates.
