Josh A - $1,900/month

I'm a lawyer moving to DC late July/early August for a judicial clerkship and staying afterwards. I'll be working in person, so won't be around much during the day on weekdays. I know a few people in DC, but I'd like a roommate who's social! (I'm be coming off a year of living alone in NYC, and the isolation is starting to get to me.) I'm a pretty serious home cook/baker--think fresh homemade pasta and bagels--so bonus points if you like to cook too, or at least like to eat! I love having friends over for dinner and also trying new restaurants and bars. I'm also a musician (guitar, violin, banjo, mandolin, etc.) and a D&D player. I'm not at all bothered by roomies having guests over as long as they're not loud late at night. I don't personally have any pets--I love dogs, but I'm allergic to cats. I'm gay if that matters. Open to all genders.

In terms of an apartment, my non-negotiables are a halfway decent kitchen and in-unit laundry. I'll be working near Judiciary Square, so ideally looking for somewhere walkable to there or not more than a couple of stops up or down the red line. Budget on here is my absolute upper limit and I certainly don't have to go that high.
