I am a 27 year old looking for one or a few roommates. I am hoping to move to Williamsburg or GreenPoint in February or March of 2019. I am also open to other areas of Brooklyn like Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, or Park Slope.
I am just moving back to NYC after ~9 months away in Denver. Before that I lived in Brooklyn for 5 years.
I have a bunch of friends in the area that I enjoy hanging out with and occasionally hosting a get together at my place. Consequently, I am not looking for a best friend, but I would love someone I can go out with and spend some time with if we are both looking for something to do. I enjoying finding new food places, brunch, dive bars, and going to events throughout both Brooklyn and Manhattan.
As far as activities, I love playing soccer and volleyball, skiing, getting out of the city, watching sports (at bars or at home), reading, bar trivia, tacos, and going and hanging out with friends. I am also trying to get a bit more into cooking. Nothing crazy, just cooking a few meals at home a week.
For work, I work at an office near Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn. I will be working from there daily during the week on pretty normal hours. I might be doing a little working from home, and sometimes doing some extra work on the weekends, but will probably stay in my room to do that and I have good headphones to block out outside noise.
As far as deal breakers for a roommate, I am trying to avoid any assholes and need someone who is respectful of common spaces. As long as you generally clean up after yourself and are not a jerk, we will get along great!
| My maximum monthly budget | 2,000 |
| Move in Date | Feb 2019 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 27 |
| Occupation | Software Engineer |
| Pets | No Pets |
| Hometown | Pittsburgh, Pa, Usa |
| Education | Carnegie Mellon University |
| Relationship Status | Single |
We think Alex would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
