Izzy D S - $1,500/month

Hi, I'm Izzy! My current roommate and I are (amicably!) parting ways, and I'm looking for someone to split the rent with somewhere near Prospect Park, or on the Upper East Side. I work full-time in manhattan as a writer at an art auction house, and on weekends I teach at the Brooklyn Museum. I work on my creative projects in my spare time--knitting, bookbinding, printmaking, etc. I also like to take walks and run. I'm queer, and not dating at the moment.

As a roommate, I am neat and friendly, and good at sharing responsibility for communal tasks and spaces. I am vegetarian, and tend to wake early. I don't smoke, but I don't mind if you do. It's important to me to have space in my home for friends to stay, short-term, as needed. I also really love halloween so throwing a halloween party is essential!

I don't have a dog or cat, but I have a lizard (bearded dragon) named Phineas (in profile pic!), who would be coming with me. He is six years old and very well-behaved--he keeps to himself in his tank, in my room, with occasional sun-bathing sessions on the windowsill. His favorite foods are blueberries and dandelions. I'm biased, but he's very cute.
