One Roommate Wanted for Queer-Safe Coop Home.
Two roommates, Jean (she/her) and Shain (they/them), are looking for a roommate to occupy the 3rd Bedroom in our 3rd Floor walk-up apartment in Flushing, Queens. The bedroom is large and has a walk in closet and private bathroom. We are kind and supportive and are looking for someone who is kind and supportive as well. It is a queer safe, feminist, cooperative home: we have house meetings twice a month and strive to live by consensus. We have a contract outlining responsibilities and best practices, with a focus on creating a safe and equitable environment. You do not have to be queer: just queer-friendly. You must also have a job and good credit score.
