I grew up in the East Coast (family is in Jersey) and am looking to move back into New York to be closer to my office. For me, having a roommate is a great way to save on cost and also meet new people. I have been working in midtown as a management consultant for the past 2.5 years.

What I'm looking for in a roommate: A working professional who can openly discuss what they like and don't like, I am always flexible and open to negotiate how we can make things more comfortable for the both of us. How much you like to go out or stay in the apartment is totally fine with me, but I would like to get furniture that will make our apartment a nice place to be. I'd prefer someone who is open to meeting new people and having fun!

A little about me below:

- Cleanliness: Like to keep a clean space - usually make my bed in the mornings and put the dishes away at night. Of course, life gets in the way sometimes, and I have been pretty flexible about that with my past roommates. Also open to getting a cleaning service if that would work better for everyone involved!

- Lifestyle: I often travel during the week because of my work, and that's balanced by other weeks where I work from midtown or remotely from the apartment (I'll be staying mostly in my room for that). I like to go out on weekends, but also enjoy being a homebody on certain weekends. Usually have a late bedtime and am a heavy sleeper, but will be respectful about noise after certain hours. Single at the moment but that can always change. I'll do my best to keep that discreetly to my bedroom and also respectful of your space.

- Cooking: I enjoy cooking at home and will try to make use of the kitchen as much as possible. I like to keep the equipment clean so you won't have to worry about things sitting on the stove or sink. More than happy to split costs on groceries and share some of the meals I make (hope you are open to trying some Korean cuisine! I usually make other types of cuisine though).

- Friends/Guests: I like bringing people over to socialize in the apartment, meaning that I'm also open to meeting any friends that you bring over. I don't have many overnight guests (maybe 1 every 3 months) and we can arrange beforehand.

- Smoking: Don't smoke cigarettes but may smoke bud occasionally, looking for someone who is flexible on that. I can keep it to my room with the door shut if required. Quit vaping a few months back and have been going strong.

- Past Landlords: Have had no issues with rent or apartment care. Can provide a reference letter if needed.

- Past Roommates: Have a great relationship with them, I would have continued to live with him but he decided to move back home with family. We remain close friends and he can be a reference if needed.
