I'm an international student from Casablanca, Morocco, who will be enrolling this Fall in Columbia's year-long MA Program in English and Comparative Literature, and I was hoping to find someplace convenient nearby. I will be arriving in New York on Sept 2 so this place seems perfect.

To say a little bit about me -- I'm 24, I went to college in the US, and spent the last year taking a breather from school tutoring English part time both at home and in South Korea, where I was visiting my girlfriend for a few months. My eventual hope, after going back to school, is to join a PhD program the better to crack my way into an academic career in the humanities.

I can keep to myself if need be, and am sensitive to personal boundaries. I expect I will be kept fairly busy throughout the year. But of course I would be more than happy to contribute in whatever way I can to creating a cozy shared living space.
