Hello! I am an-almost-36 year old who recently moved back to VA from Austin, TX. Lived there for 2.5 years, and 5 in San Antonio for undergraduate studies at UTSA. With my time in college, and work as an event manager and small business owner (catering), I am quite familiar and comfortable with shared living, and the respect for one's space that should come with it no matter the type of space it is. As someone that values a healthy balance between privacy, and socializing I believe it is important to share my living space with people that understand that balance. I like to keep clean common areas and do my best to clean up after myself, especially when I cook! And yes I do enjoy cooking, and cooking for others, with my specialty being South Asian dishes, and also some Texas influences. My cat is very shy and will keep to herself much of the time, but will slowly come out to explore over several months. I'm looking for like minded people, who are ok with cats (no dogs please) and relatively quiet spaces. I am a big play on words guy and my sense of humor is basically Fresh Prince Will Smith meets George Carlin. I speak 3 languages with basic proficiency in Spanish, play the drums and don't really watch TV, (with notable exceptions) and enjoy sci fi movies! My plan for the next year is to complete a data science bootcamp and focus on trying to build my resume for a career shift into tech.
