About Me

I'm building a 3D printing startup (praxismfg.com) in Long Island City. I'm living off savings right now and planning to take some >$60/hr engineering contracting gigs as necessary in a few months to stay funded. That makes NYC apartment hunting super difficult because I haven't got proof of income (I'm not paying myself yet, wups!), but my credit score is 778 and my parents are great guarantors.

I've been rock climbing for 15 years, 7 of those on a kids competitive team, and I'm pretty into cooking. Every couple months my friend and I throw a dinner party at his place for 20+ friends and I cook for everyone - I'd love to be able to host smaller versions of that myself but realistically don't expect to until I have significant income again.

I'm working 60-80 hours a week right now so I'll barely be around, and I'm super easy to live with when I am around. I'm clean but don't really care if you aren't (except for stank, that's a deal breaker for me), I don't have any pets but I'm down for anything except cats*, I don't smoke and barely drink anymore.

Let me know if you've got somewhere!

* I love cats, but I developed an allergy sometime in college. If yours is hairless or hypoallergenic or anything like that I'm down. Or if your place is *super* cheap I could live off allergy meds.

My maximum monthly budget 700
