Brittany O - $1,300/month

Hey! I'm Brittany and I'm looking to move off campus somewhere in mid to late August this year. I have a cat, Clover, who will be coming with me. She likes to chill by herself and watch you from the other side of the room, she's really sweet once she starts to trust you. I'm a Pace University student studying Environmental studies and trying to work in ornithology. I like video games, mostly animal crossing at the moment. Bird watching, embroidery, and just vibing. I drink probably once or twice a week and I'll toke probably twice a month. I like cooking too! I try to cook almost anything, not a great baker though. I like eating out at new restaurants and trying new things. I love japanese and Russian food, I love vegan food too although I'm not vegan myself. I like animated movies and TV shows, Avatar the last Airbender and Ghibli are some of my favorites.

So I guess I need to talk about roommate stuff now? I'm not very loud. The loudest I get when I'm alone is having my tv on. I'd have guests semi often but they're all pretty well behaved. My sister would come around semi often because Clover is actually her cat and she's moving into a FIT dorm and can't take her, but it won't be oppressive. The cat is her best friend and I can't separate them :( I do have friends that would come and chill but I'd ask you first about anyone coming over if I knew you'd be home. I don't go clubbing really, I prefer to have a handful of people over and watch a bad movie while drinking wine and or doing shots. You're always welcome to join! I'm also in a long term relationship, but my boyfriend goes to Stony Brook so he wouldn't come more often than once a month at the most for a long weekend. He's really sweet and mild mannered. This goes both ways of course, I'd be totally ok with you having people over as long as they're not total freaks lmao.

I'm not in the apartment all the time, I like to go on walks as well as going to my classes and trying out stuff the city has to offer. As for cleanliness, I guess I'd like the apartment to be somewhat clean? not like sparkling but not trash left around and half eaten food left on the table. I try to be open and communicative without being combative, I don't want to fight and I want everyone to get what they need!

As for parties, I personally won't throw any. I'm cool with you doing that as long as you let me know and clean up the day after!

My ideal roommate would be kind, funny, like some of the things I do, cleans sometimes, isn't super loud, LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly.
