Man I hate these open ended things. I am a picky neurotic individual looking for a similar one. Prefer queer women, vegetarian/vegan, tidy. Bonus points for another student or scientist so we can geek out.
I love nature and science, and I have more hobbies than I have time for. I like reading, painting and other media, making music (though you will never hear me since I am super shy with it-- violin and double bass.) I like gardening so you can expect a little herb and vegetable garden to come with me. I like trying new things, like right now I'm trying to learn perfume making. I like yoga, documentaries, and always want to be around animals. I can be social with humans too. Not opposed to a good night out (or in). I try to be a good activist but it is so hard when you are completely antisocial 75% of the time as I am.
In terms of living habits, I am okay with the kind of roommate where we talk every several days or the kind where we become bosom buddies and cook dinner together and stuff. Haven't actually tried the latter so that may be novel. I like an uncluttered space where I can focus on projects and whatnot. You may catch me leaving mugs from tea on my desk for long periods of time but that will probably be the worst of it. I'm good about splattering paint only on myself and my art desk.
Honestly since I'm moving to New York for grad school, I may just be in the lab a ton.
