Hi there! My name is Claire, and I'm a Metro-Detroit native planning a move to the Chicago area in early August. I will be starting my first year of teaching middle school Social Studies in the fall.

I'll be teaching in the Hermosa/Belmont area, but am looking to rent wherever is a good fit (and a reasonable commute!).

I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my free time, expanding my music tastes, learning how to cook, and reading. I am always up for exploring or otherwise learning more about Chicago! Although I'm quite independent and appreciate having my own space, I would love to get to know you and your interests, and I'll have your back if and when you need me. :)

I am an early riser but can sleep through anything, don't mind any pets, and no sex/gender preferences. Preferably non-smoking.
