We are male and female best friends in our late 50's. Aside from finding a housemate we can "blend" with, we are looking for a HUGE animal lover and someone who'd enjoy living with several rescued animals. We are very active in animal welfare/rescue and have several rescued animals of our own, including a few smaller foster dogs. We have a few cats, parrots, a tortoise and a pack of smaller dogs and a few fosters. Ideally, we'd like someone who has animal experience, especially with rescue/shelter animals. Since we are at our limit, we would prefer no additional dogs, although we'd be open to another well behaved smaller animal. Must be a non-smoker/drug user, very clean/neat, responsible, communicative and easy going. You must be understanding/supportive of the needs of rescue animals and interactive with them vs. just tolerant. We are liberal-minded, spiritual vs. religious, private, but friendly/outgoing. Our housemates are considered friends/part of the family, so it's imperative we get along and blend. We are being very cautious about the individual we share our home with. Must be willing to take a background test and provide both personal and professional references. Neighborhood is safe, quiet and pristine, near stores, gyms, parks/trails.
