I'm a documentary video director and producer, and I travel fairly often on shoots. I'm looking for someone to share my 2-bedroom apartment in Williamsburg. I've lived in NYC for 3 years and still enjoy running around being a tourist and doing my own thing, but I'd also love to find a roommate who I get along with. In my free time I enjoy running and yoga and on the weekends I love to go out dancing. I'm also a public library enthusiast but do stream TV shows on a night in. In terms of my personal habits, I'm very clean in common spaces (esp. kitchen and bathroom). Feel free to ask me any specific questions you may have!

QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD WITH GREAT ACCESS TO TRANSIT TO MANHATTAN.
TONS OF NATURAL LIGHT.
MARCH 1 LEASE - INQUIRE ABOUT EARLY MOVE IN.
Amenities include: Washer/Dryer In-Unit, Dishwasher, Gas Stove, Rain Shower, Central AC/Heat, Virtual Doorman.
Transportation: Lorimer L and Metropolitan Ave G (5 min), Hewes JMZ (12 min)
Utilities: $75/month/person on average.
Your bedroom is the bigger of the two. The floor plan in the picture has the correct measurements, except you have an extra two feet in width on the top half of the room (so, 9'9 x 11'0).
Shared spaces: The bathroom is quite sizeable for New York apartments. The kitchen has decent counter space for cooking. The living room area is huge, with a very Brooklyn exposed brick wall (completely insulated from the outdoors though!). The space is already furnished with a dining table and chairs, and I'm in the process of furnishing the living room. The storage is the secret gem of this apartment -- one of the two closets in the hall is for cleaning supplies, the other is your closet, and both have these crawl spaces on top of them where you can store even more things! Also if you have a bike, the landlords have kindly offered to allow us to store in the basement in the winter.
Speaking of... these are the best landlords you will find in all of New York. They truly care about their tenants. (Details... they installed up and down shades on all of the windows so that we could still get natural light in the space but have privacy from the street. Amazing!) They live on the top floor of this three-unit family home, so they're very attentive to keeping the space a warm and welcoming place. They've got an A rating on Rentlogic, and there is no history of pests. I have a video of the apartment if you'd like to see it!
In terms of you... I'd love to find someone who has has a good energy/positive vibe, shares some of my interests and/or enjoys catching up over a glass of wine when we're both in the apartment, and is clean/cleans up after cooking, etc. It'd be great if you want to stay at least a year. (I signed a 2-year lease.)
