Niklas B - $2,000/month

Hey there, my name is Niklas and I’m a PhD student based in Amsterdam. I’m 27 yo and originally from the (arguably) beautiful city of Cologne (Germany). Next spring semester, I will visit the Economics department at NYU and am looking for a room in NYC between February and May 2026. In my research, I study macroeocnomic effects and microeconomic origins of wealth inequality. In my free time I go rock climbing a lot (more than one might expect given that I live in the flattest land of - at least - Europe), explore different facets of culture and pursue random projects related to other stuff I like (my friends, literature, music, and furniture design). I’ve been living with friends (or eventual friends) for the past 4 years and would definitely like to make some new ones during my stay in NYC.
