About Me

Hey there!

I'm Piotr (Peter), a JD student at Fordham Law, and I'm looking for someone to take over my roommate's half of the lease for our 2-BDR apartment in the Upper West Side ($1520). He is moving out at the end of July/ early August to work in another city.

I will also be studying abroad for a year (August '23 - May '24), so I will be looking for another person to sublease my room to until I'm back. Let me know if you know someone who might be interested!

About the apartment --

2 bedroom, 3rd floor w elevator, in-unit washer/dryer, all the shared spaces are furnished, my roommate is selling some of his furniture. 2 minutes to central park, 2 minutes to 103rd Street Subway Station (C,D), 4 minutes to Target, Starbucks, and tons of restaurants, also a Trader Joe's 10min away walking.

Utilities and wifi come out to be ~$90-100, so a $45-50 split.

A little about me --

I'm originally from Poland but was raised out on Long Island and went to undergrad at UMass Amherst.

I love learning languages and traveling. I've spent some time living in Mexico and Colombia, working to improve my Spanish. I love skiing, volleyball, running, scuba diving, and air hockey.

Looking to room with another other young professional about the same age. I lived with both men and women before, so no gender preference! Overall I'm pretty laid back. Outside of school, I like to go to the gym, go out with friends or just stay in and relax. When I return from my study abroad, I will work FT at a firm in the city.

Since I will be working at a law firm, I will sometimes have irregular hours and need to get up early and work overnight. I love having people over and socializing, we just need to be courteous of one another's needs. It would be nice to keep the place clean and livable, but I'm not a neat freak.

Please reach out if you feel we'd make great roommates!
