Professional seeking roommate in condo.

New condo owner looking to rent out a room. Condo is still in post possession so I cannot physically show until current tenant has left on the 31st. Looking for a September move in date. Will be working on painting walls of the common areas so there will be dust/paint. Move in can be later if this is bothersome.

Spacious top (3rd) floor condo with balcony. 2 bedrooms , 1.5 baths with closets galore. Full bathroom will be shared. Real Hardwood floors in living & dining room. Eat in kitchen with walk in pantry. Entry hall with another walk in closet. Newer ceramic floor in the kitchen & on balcony. Ample street parking on Bernice street. One shared coin laundry on first floor. Large AC unit in dinning area cools the shared areas of the condo. Rent includes Common Insurance, Exterior Maintenance, Lawn Care, Snow Removal, Heat, Water, Scavenger, and Gas. Electric and wifi/cable would be an additional shared expense.

The room for rent does not have an AC unit. Windows open side to side if interested in purchasing a window unit. Room dimensions 9.5 x 11.5 .

5 minute drive to Wright College (15 min walk) and the Harlem Irving Plaza . Jewel Osco 2 minute drive (7 min walk).

I am a female school social worker for CPS. I work school hours and am typically home when not at work. Will be working from home in September at least until November. I have a sweet and friendly male beagle. This is a pet friendly building, however, I am allergic to cats so unfortunately no cats allowed. Smaller/medium size dogs could be an option if they can get along with the beagle. I am not a neat freak, but looking for someone who can keep the shared areas clean. We have a balcony so smoking maybe an option, but we can discuss further. I may have guests from time to time but not one to throw parties often. Always will have a heads up if I do plan to have more than a couple guests over.

Looking for a responsible, respectful, and friendly female roommate. Also someone who is taking the pandemic seriously.

Would like to do a credit/background check, typically cost $40. Non refundable move in fee of 350. Furniture in pictures is the previous owners, not the furniture I will have once I move in.
