I have a room opening up at my lovely Bushwick 2 bedroom apartment, as my roommate is moving out. The lease begins May 1st, and it's a 6 month lease.

Seeking a new roommate in my lovely 2-bed, 1-bath apartment in Bushwick for May 1st move-in on a 6-month lease with the possibility to extend. (Males preferred)
About the Apartment:
- Rent is $1250 per person
- Utilities average about $100 per person per month
- In-unit washer/dryer
- Great transportation and location in between Central Ave M stop and Myrtle Broadway JZM
- Nice, modern appliances
- It’s a 4th floor walk-up
- Access to rooftop
- Near JMZ tracks so must be okay with some noise from the train
About the Room:
- It’s spacious enough to fit a queen bed and a desk situation comfortably
- Good-sized closet and large windows
- AC/Heat unit in room
About Me (Your Potential New Roomie):
- 27M, I’m straight but LGBTQ friendly
- I’m originally from Minnesota
- I’m a Designer/Art Director at a creative agency, and I work from home in my bedroom
- I love making art and illustrating
- I like to keep the place reasonably tidy
- I’ve lived here for a year now, and I absolutely love this place & location
The ideal candidate is someone who is chill, respectful, communicative, doesn’t bring the party home, and cleans up after themselves. Since I work from home, ideally I’m looking for someone who does not also work from home full time. And since I’m an artist/creative, it’d be cool to find someone who shares similar interests with that stuff as well if possible. Hope to find someone I can become friends with, but ultimately I’m just looking for a chill, clean & respectful roommate. And, although I love animals, I have no pets and I’d prefer to keep my place pet-free.
Shared living space is fully furnished, so I’d like to find someone with minimal furniture. The room itself will be unfurnished, however.
