I just got out of a long-term relationship with my partner and am moving out of a house, looking for a restart and adventure in Chicago as I begin a new (fully-remote) job. I'd love to be close to the LGBTQ nightlife and would love a roommate who already has friends in the area in that scene, but it's not a requirement. I will likely be sharing custody of our 20-lb pug/Jack Russell mix, who is a sweet girl who gets along with other dogs; not sure about cats (I do love cats though) - I would obviously cover any pet fees for her and again, she'll likely only be there from December through maybe the springtime. I'm an avid bodybuilder, big Boston sports fan, and casual gamer. I also play the guitar and sing. Not a germ freak but definitely prefer someone who takes care of the space - open to splitting the cost for a housecleaner service as well. Will have my car (an EV) so parking and access to charging is important to me. Last but not least: I'm considering living by myself, but want to explore my options first for splitting a 2 or 3 BR situation for cost and socialization purposes.
