I work at an investment fund and will begin an MFA program at NYU this fall. I'm a huge reader, novice cook, and a lover of exploring local hotspots.
While I don't have much free time, I love vibrant homes. I don't believe your living space should feel sterile, so I'd love to meet someone independent yet warm an welcoming.
Note: I currently live in a 3-bedroom in E. Williamsburg and am contemplating renewing the lease this September. The other two roommates -- who pay around $1,000 -- will most likely move out; if you're interested in more details, send me a message.

We think Asiya’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

This is a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a lot of natural light. The bedroom has two large windows, high ceilings, a closet, and can fit a desk, too. The living room feels very open, and the kitchen is big enough to accommodate two people simultaneously (somewhat rare for New York).
Worried about the L shutdown? Fear not! We're 12 minutes from the Knickerbocker Ave M, and 14 minutes from the Central Ave M. We're approximately 5 minutes from the Dekalb Ave L.
It's a really lively neighborhood -- a plethora of coffee shops, bars, vintage stores, and laundromats. We're walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, like Sea Wolf, Faro, Sally Roots, and Bunna Cafe. There's a Keyfood right in front of the apartment, as well as a natural grocery store approximately seven minutes away.
A little more info: I'm a writer, a graduate student, and work full-time at an asset management firm. Day-to-day, I'm pretty busy, but I'm still down to chill and explore the city.
