Hey! I’m a 22-year-old guy from China, moving to NYC soon for a one-year culinary internship.

I’m really excited to finally experience NYC beyond just being a tourist. Outside of work, I’m usually at the gym, trying out new restaurants and coffee spots, cooking, listening to music, taking photos, or just walking around and discovering random parts of the city.

I’m pretty social and enjoy hanging out with roommates, grabbing food together, or going out occasionally, but I’m definitely not someone who needs to party every night. I also like having my own time and space.

Since I’m coming from China, I’d actually love to live with people from different backgrounds and get to know people in NYC. I’m also always happy to introduce roommates to Chinese food, restaurants, or whatever else you’re curious about.

For the apartment, I’m mainly looking for a place that feels comfortable and homey — somewhere we can actually enjoy living in, not just a room to sleep in. I’m pretty chill about different lifestyles and schedules, as long as we can communicate and respect each other.
