I am a 27 year old lawyer from Berlin, Germany. I will be coming to NYC to do a master’s degree in law at Columbia University in August for one year.

I am looking for a flat in West Manhattan, ideally in Chelsea, Greenwich/West Village, Soho or Hell's Kitchen with a roommate preferably in his/her 20s or 30s. A furnished room would be great but it's not a must.

I enjoy good coffee, cooking and wine - something I would love to share with my roommate! I am very clean and tidy, but not neurotically so. I think I am quite easy to live with as I am laid back and always up for a chat while respecting if my roommate wants some me time.

I enjoy doing Yoga and going for a run or to the gym. I intend to take my studies seriously, so I won't be having a lazy student lifestyle. Yet I am also very much looking forward to exploring New York and going out for dinners and drinks in the city.
