Preferred Neighbourhoods: Battery Park, FiDi, Tribeca, Soho, UES/UWS, Greenwich V, Chelsea (anything up the western side of NYC really.) Also open to Jersey City/Hoboken.

My name is Brian- I am 27 year old looking to jump back into the roommate world after a few years of living on my own. Recently, I've been living out of state after being laid off during the holiday season of 2022. I just accepted a new role back in the city and plan on moving back somewhere between April and July. I am pretty flexible with a lease term- whether you want a year+ or are looking for a short term roommate, I'm happy to exlore anything.

As far as guys go, I'd say I'm on the cleaner side- though my private room can get a bit messy. Cleanliness in shared spaces (especially the kitchen and bathroom) is really important to me, so much so that I might just do your dishes for you.

I would say I fall on the quiet side, I'm not really the type to blast music or watch a show without headphones on. I don't do a lot of hosting either- maybe a friend stopping by for an hour every now and then. My ideal roommate is similiar in this way: leaning towards quiet with the occasional friend/s coming through. Tbh I just don't want the apartment to be like a club every night.

I'm definitely cool with drinking, I'm a big wine fan. I'm 4/20 friendly, but I rarely partake. And definitely not into anything past that- I would prefer our surfaces be blow-free.

I've never missed a rent payment in 5 years of NYC living, so you never have to worry about that kinda stuff.

Random Facts About Me:

- I'm half Irish and half Euromutt
- I call myself an extroverted introvert- I recharge mentally and find comfort being on my own, but socializing and my friends are really important parts of who I am.
- Obsessive Yankees fan, fairweather Rangers fan, no NBA or NFL team but enjoy watching, and huge soccer fan (go team USA).
- I am a Sun Leo and a Moon Scorpio (I think Sagittarius rising?? regardless outside of Leo I have no idea what these mean)
- My family lives in Richmond, VA- I leave town to visit maybe like 3 or 4 times a year?
- I am really trying to eat out as little as possible... but I'm also not a walking recipe book.. So idk guess I need to get better
- On that note, I am in the middle of huge fitness journey- so likely will always be game to be a gym buddy/class buddy/walk buddy
- I play casual coed rec soccer almost year round, and would love for you to join me- the more the merrier!
