I am a substitute teacher in two school districts.
I was employed as a German teacher with a one-year contract, which was not renewed due to insufficient enrollment. I speak German and I have a working knowledge of French. I taught French as a long-term substitute. My hobby is the history of the First World War, with an emphasis on aviation. I have written two published books on that subject, and I also translate books from German to English. I have traveled to Europe six times, including once for summer work in Germany and another time to take summer courses at a German university. When not engaged in sedentary pursuits, I like to hike and ride my bicycle.
