I have a background in literature and an interest in the arts, particularly photography and filmmaking. I recently arrived to New York from San Francisco with the intention of pursuing filmmaking and of applying to Stony Brook’s MFA in film. I'm currently working at a cafe in Greenpoint and am in the midst of applying to a job as a teacher of visual art. In my spare time I like to read and write, so I’m pretty lowkey as a housemate. I also like to keep things clean and tidy. I have experience living with others (have lived with as many as 24 roommates at a time), I’m respectful of people’s space, and I value open and honest communication.
