I'm a 35-year-old Colombian trans guy seeking a room/roommates in Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan with a move-in date by 2/1/2026. My budget is up to $1200, including utilities. I'm mainly looking for a month-to-month or longer-term sublet with a NY sublease agreement, but prefer a long-term stay.

My current work routine varies, but mainly involves tutoring Spanish in the city. While I don't get official pay stubs, I can provide alternate financial backups, including a guarantor and a bank statement showing savings.

A little bit about my professional and educational background:

I graduated from Bowdoin College in 2014, attended graduate school at UC Davis briefly for Spanish literature, and then transitioned into the legal field (i.e., worked as a paralegal for a few years before completing my first year of law school at Fordham). Now I'm looking for full-time jobs while also exploring career-pivot possibilities in the near future.

My hobbies include long-distance running (i.e., ran 4 marathons so far; last one was the 2024 NYC Marathon), watching independent films, reading, and listening to NPR.

As a roommate, I'm pretty clean, organized, and laid-back. Ultimately, clear communication, respect, and understanding are critical to me when living with others.

For COVID/flu-conscious folks, I'm vaccinated with the latest COVID-19 and flu shots (December 2025).
