I’m a 34 y/o gay guy who is looking for a laid back roommate to apartment / house hunt with. I work as an RN at UCLA (work from home). I have a 4-year-old lab - pitbull mix named Tucker. He’s really well-behaved, gets along with other dogs, and loves humans. He only chews on his toys - thankfully. If I travel, he happily goes to a pet hotel. I won’t need any help with him and don’t expect that from my roommate - unless you really love dogs and WANT to spend time with him.
I don’t have too many preferences for a roommate - I’d just like you to be laid back and have your life together - which means you’re a young professional and don’t have problems paying your bills. We don’t have to be best friends but it’d be pretty cool to have a roommate as a friend, yet someone who understands that sometimes I need to retire to my room when I’m emotionally exhausted. I met the last roommate I had on Craigslist while living in the Bay Area. We are great friends and still talk every day - so the bar has been set pretty high!
I’m pretty clean / clean up after myself and I’d hope you are, too. Currently, I have a cleaning service that comes twice a month for deep cleaning. I’d be cool if you were open for that as well.
My budget is around $2,500 per month and don’t mind paying more if you just want to rent a room. I’m looking for a 2, or ideally 3 bedroom place, so I can have a separate office space. I’d love a house with a backyard for Tucker but am open to an apartment as well. I’m open for West Hollywood / Westside / Santa Monica - as long as I have a parking spot. My lease ends 3/21 and I’m month-to-month after that, so I want to find the perfect place with the perfect roommate.
Let’s chat, maybe grab a drink or coffee, and see if we’d be a good match! I look forward to meeting you!
