Looking for a roommate in Brooklyn, Queens - New York

Mikaela W - $1,250/month

About Me

I am a Seattle native who studied Psychology in undergrad and spent the last two years living in Spain teaching English. I am currently working towards a teaching certificate online and hoping to find a job in a non-profit or community-based org in the meantime. I like cooking, reading, listening to music, crafting, hanging with friends, and going for walks/exploring my community. A perfect day off to me would start with putting on a cute outfit, getting an iced coffee, and walking around a neighborhood or people watching in a park while listening to music or an audiobook. Then, maybe do a little journalling or crafting, then get dinner/drinks with friends and go out to karaoke, trivia, dancing, or a cool cultural event! I love a night in as much as (sometimes more than) a night out. As a roommate I am respectful and communicative. I appreciate keeping common areas clean and clutter-free. I would love to live with someone who I could be friends with (!!), but I also do really enjoy my alone time, so I could work with simply an amicable and respectful roommate situation! I don't have any allergies and would be keen to live with someone who had a cat as I love them but am not ready to make the financial commitment to a pet right now. LGBTQIA+ friendly, 420-friendly, anti-racist, leftist. If you think we would get alone please reach out, I would love to connect and see if we are a good fit. Thanks <3
