Years ago, I took a break from my professional career to attend culinary school and earn my sommelier certification. And although I'm not a gambler, I earned a small bit of fleeting fame on ESPN by winning an event at the World Series of Poker.

I'm passionate about social issues ranging from the climate to refugees to providing nutritious food to underserved communities and city food deserts.

My personal hobbies are trail running (and running in general), riding motorcycles, cooking, and traveling every chance I get. Especially to pursue outdoors endeavors.
