I'm a software engineer looking to move to the NoVa/DC area this summer.

Because my work is remote at the moment, I'm fairly flexible with move in date but was aiming for June-ish. I'm not too picky on location but I'd love to be within walkable distance to a silver line metro stop.

I'm ideally looking for a place with in-unit laundry, private bath, parking, and possibly a fenced in yard. My budget is ~2k (I'm willing to go a bit higher depending on utilities but aiming for 2k) - I would also love to find a place with an extra bedroom that can be used as an office space / workout room if possible.

I love game nights (video, board, or card games), exploring new areas/restaurants nearby, and social activities like intramurals / escape rooms / etc.

I have a 2 year old Siberian Husky named Kira - in general she would do best as the only dog in the house. She definitely won't get along well with cats. She's very playful and overall quiet - she generally only barks when she wants to go outside. She is very energetic, so long walks and weekend hikes/trails are very common and I'd love a roommate that would be okay with helping out with her if I have to leave for a weekend!
