Manogna V - $2,000/month

I'm a San Francisco native (so I'm familiar with the high cost of living) and I'll be starting a new job in NYC in August. Some stuff about me:

As a roommate: I'm a pretty low-maintenance roommate but will respect other people's boundaries. I'll clean up after myself in common spaces but won't really be upset if other people leave a little mess now and then. I do like to cook a lot and am very happy to share my cooking with roommates -- as long as they agree to do the dishes in return.

As a human: I'm fairly social and I like to host events (not super often, maybe once every few weeks). I'm a "social drinker" - to me that means maybe a glass of wine on a weeknight, go out and grab a drink with friends on the weekend. I don't HAVE to be friends with my roommates, but I'd like to be. It would be good if we liked each other enough to have a conversation, maybe watch TV together, or hang out outside of the apartment occasionally.

Hobbies/interests: I read quite a bit, and I like music enough to own a small record collection but not enough to be a snob about it. I do Muy Thai kickboxing and will probably spend most weeknights at a kickboxing gym once I find one I like in the city.
