Bedroom available in Parkchester

Parkchester is a quiet, green neighborhood located off the 6 train in the Bronx. There are several chain restaurants and small businesses in the area. There is a grocery store and a laundromat on the same block. The common room is large and furnished but I can make room for your stuff too. Walls are very thick and I only hear neighbors in the morning listening to a podcast and downstairs neighbor occasionally plays loud music on the weekend but is very kind and will turn it down if asked. The bathroom is full with a tub/shower combo, and I keep a filter on the shower. Water pressure is great except when they’re working on one of the lines but it doesn’t happen often. The kitchen has a gas stove and a decent-sized refrigerator. No smoking in the apartment, please. I’m 420 friendly for edibles, but I am immunocompromised and have weak lungs.

There is a portable AC unit and closet in the available room. Gas and water are included.

I’m 30F disabled, divorced, and LGBTQ. I work from home, but I’m a very quiet roommate in general. I have two very friendly cats, one is a little skiddish. I love watching sitcoms, playing video games, reading books, etc. Ideally, I’d love to become friends with my roommate, but I’m also open to staying out of your way. I always have tea on hand. I’m not over the top, but I like to keep things clean enough to prevent pests and expect roommates to do the same.
