Kala P - $1,750/month

I am a young professional relocating to NYC from Philadelphia in 2021. I work as a Coordinator in the legal industry and am planning on pursuing a Masters degree in the fall. I have lived in the Philadelphia area all my life and I know the transition into New York is going to be stressful and challenging, so I am not only looking for potential roommates, but new friends as well! I'm not a neat freak by any means, but am super tidy and have easily coordinated with past roommates to complete household chores. I am pet friendly and have a pet of my own (a Guinea Pig named Romy). He's quiet, freaks out for snacks, sleeps most of the time, and I keep his living space very clean. I love to cook, especially for others, so my future roommate(s) definitely have that to look forward to. I also live alone and recently redecorated my apartment so I have a ton of furniture, kitchen appliances, and decor to furnish common living spaces. I would consider myself an extroverted introvert. I really cherish my alone time, and during the week I mostly keep to myself to unwind from a stressful work day, but I love going out and discovering new bars and restaurants and meeting up with friends for fun events. I'm moving to NYC for a change of scenery and to really challenge myself to partake in new experiences. I am ready to go on adventures and see what the city has to offer!
