Howdy! I’m Abigail, and my dog’s name is Velvet. I’m 36 and work as a Design Director at a local design studio in RiNo. I’m on a hybrid schedule and usually head into the office about half the week. Velvet is a sweet, playful Border Collie mix and is crate trained when I’m away.
I’m originally from Montana but have called Denver home for about 10 years. I’m pretty easygoing, independent, and tend to keep myself busy. I’m really into fitness and all things health and wellness. Most days I’m up early and at the gym around 5:30 or 6, then I’ll either work from my home office or head into the office in RiNo. If I don’t get a workout in first thing, I’ll usually fit one in after the workday. I tend to keep pretty regular hours and usually head to bed sometime between 9 and 10:30.
Outside of work, you can usually find me at a show, trying a new restaurant with friends, at the sauna or spa, checking out a gallery or museum, or getting outside when I can. I also travel quite a bit and am sometimes gone for longer stretches.
I work a lot and definitely value having my own space, but I also like living in a home that feels friendly and social. I’m not looking for a roommate I have to do everything with, but I’d love to live with someone who is easygoing, respectful, communicative, and down to hang out from time to time.

The house is located just north of City Park in a quiet residential neighborhood with great neighbors and easy access to a lot of central Denver. City Park is just down the street, and RiNo, Uptown, and surrounding neighborhoods are all less than about 10 minutes away.
The garden level gives you a lot more privacy than a typical roommate arrangement and is set up almost like its own suite. You’ll have two bedrooms, your own living room, and your own private bathroom. Both bedrooms have closets, plus there are two additional large storage closets off the living area, so there’s plenty of extra room for bikes, skis, camping gear, or anything else you don’t want taking up bedroom space.
The garden-level bathroom also houses the shared washer and dryer. Outside of laundry, the kitchen is really the only shared interior space in the house. The garden level is unfurnished, so you’ll be able to make the space your own.
The house also has large, landscaped front and back yards with a covered back patio that’s great for hanging out, hosting, or working outside. There are two raised garden beds that you’d have full access to, along with a large two-car garage with additional workspace, storage, and an extra refrigerator.
Rent is $1,300/month + electric and Wi-Fi. The landlord covers water and trash.
Dogs are welcome, but unfortunately no cats.
