OFFERING: 1 bedroom in Astoria - $1,050: Looking for a new roommate to share in my two bedroom in the heart of Astoria, Queens!

Apartment: The apartment is in a well-maintained building, I've lived here for a year and the landlord has always been very helpful. The apartment is spacious with a living room (GIANT TV!), table nook, a fully equipped kitchen, and 1 bathroom. It is on the second floor of an 6-unit building located 2 blocks from the Steinway M/R station. It has rooftop access (real stairs, no fire escape ladder climbing!) -- incredible skyline and sunset views!

Space Configuration: You would have your own private entry into the apartment, a door into the kitchen, by your room and the bathroom. The room gets a ton of afternoon sunshine. The closet in your room is HUGE - tons of storage space, with two sliding mirror doors. The room has two windows, AC unit available in one, fire escape by the other. The room comfortably fits a queen size bed with a dresser or desk, and has a shelf on one wall. a big closet and storage space on top.

Rent: The total rent would be $1,050 a month for the room, plus all utilities divided in half. 1 month rent security deposit required.

Available: Long-term: The landlord is looking for a year lease, but if you need a flexible time line that's negotiable. Room is available for move in NOW.

Where: 1 avenue and 1 block off the Steinway M/R station, or ten short blocks to the 30th Ave N/W Station. Awesome location with a CVS a block away (and RIGHT by Comfortland!) Bus stop at the end of the block, too

Me: Late 20s queer is lady who has lived in Astoria for 5 years. I don't have a fixed schedule, I currently work for an airline. I'm a nerd, always down to watch a sci-fi movie, love cooking dinner, and drinking wine. Some nights a week I spend at my girlfriend's apt, so you'll have the apartment to yourself.
