Looking for a kind, communicative housemate to share a 2BR duplex home with me and my cat, Billie Jean. This room has its own private entrance through the back patio door, so you get a nice mix of privacy and shared space.

The space:

· Unfurnished room – make it yours
· Private back entrance & patio access
· Shared living room, kitchen, bathroom, fenced yard
· On-site parking inside the fence + street parking
· No smoking inside, outside is ok

Rent: $860/month, all-inclusive (utilities, internet, water, electricity, garbage – everything). No surprise bills.

About me: 40, black and multiracial trans/nonbinary, artist/musician gig worker. Pretty low-key, don’t party. This is a queer-affirming, neurodivergent-friendly home. BIPOC queer folks are especially encouraged to reach out. Other queers are also welcome. I’m looking for someone who shares the same values above all else.

Pets: Billie Jean is an only-cat (she’s territorial with other felines), so no other cats. Dogs or other pets are fine! The private entrance makes it easy. If you have a registered ESA, the pet deposit/rent won’t apply. Otherwise, I’m confirming the pet deposit details with the homeowner.

Move-in: Targeting late May/early June. You’d need the first month ($860) + $860 deposit = $1,720 total to move in. The homeowner will run a standard Zillow application (background/credit check) for the formal lease. I can explain the full process when you reach out.

Photos: The listing photos are from when the place was unfurnished, so you can see the bones. Current common spaces are decorated and lived-in but open to adding any additional furniture and/or decor.
