Available Room for Rent

Bedroom available in bright, beautiful NoLIta apt

Looking for a great housemate to fill the second bedroom in my furnished two-bedroom apartment on Broome St. in NoLIta, available September 1st. Long term is ideal, but will consider shorter term.

The apartment is a great deal in one of the best neighborhoods in the city, with beautiful natural light, high ceilings and plenty of space.

The bedrooms are separated by a long hallway, kitchen and bathroom, so it's pretty private as far as apt shares go. The living room is big and sunny, with a dining room table and comfortable couch, and is great for entertaining. The open bedroom is fully furnished, with a queen-sized bed, TV, dresser, vanity, and nightstand. There’s also an adjacent double-wide private closet with tons of room.

The neighborhood is about as good as it gets in terms of restaurants, bars and shopping. Closest subways are 6 at Spring St., BD at Grand and NR at Prince.

Rent is $1950, plus monthly two-way split of internet/electric and a cleaning person who comes once a month.

I'm asking for first month's rent plus a one month security deposit.

About me: I'm a male writer and editor who’s often out of town, very easy to live with and respectful of privacy. Have had great relationships with all of my past housemates (both male and female). I do occasionally smoke out the window, so if smoking really bothers you, probably not a good fit.

Looking for someone cool with an even temperament and steady income. Because I often work from home during the day, I'd really prefer someone who works in an office/outside the home.
