Hi! I'm a recent Stanford grad (BS 2017, MS 2018, 24M) working as a software engineer in fintech. My roommate fits the same profile. We're looking for a third guy in his mid-20s to fill a massive bedroom in a gorgeous 3BR/1.5BA Edwardian in Cole Valley. It's one of the best neighborhoods in the city, and the room is absolutely massive--fits a king bed, desk, futon, armoire (no closet), bookshelves, and dresser. We're both friendly and kind - of course, hoping we'll be friends, but certainly prioritize compatible living style over all else. Lifestyle wise, mostly out and about but quiet when we're home - looking for someone with a similar approach.

Looking for a roommate in gorgeous 3BR/1.5BA Cole Valley flat!
Looking for a roommate in Cole Valley starting 11/1 earliest for a 1 year term! We’re two early/mid 20s male software engineers looking for another guy around our age (no couples, live in SOs, smokers, or pets please).
The place: 3 BR/1.5 BA top floor of a 3-story Edwardian at the Carl and Cole intersection. It’s just across the street from the N line, with a 20 minute MUNI ride to downtown. The unit is beautiful, with a back porch looking out onto the Ashbury heights and Sutro Forest and an awesome backyard where you can read in a beautiful flower garden. Huge common spaces, modern kitchen and bathroom, in-unit dishwasher, in-building washer/dryer and storage, easy street parking within a couple blocks.
The room: This bedroom is absolutely massive. It can easily hold a desk, bookshelf, dresser, queen bed, armoire (there's no closet), and futon. Its bay windows overlook an awesome dog park with a view of the Marin headlands and the Bridge.
The rent: Rent is 1850/month (water, garbage, monthly cleaning included). Utilities and WiFi are split evenly between the three of us. It’s a great deal for the amount of space you’ll get. The security deposit is one month’s rent.
The neighborhood: If you haven’t been here, Cole Valley is one of the coolest spots in the city—it’s basically a small town, just in the middle of the city! 5 minute walk from the Upper Haight and Golden Gate Park, 10 minutes from UCSF, and 15 from the Inner Sunset and Divisadero.
The roommates: 2 early/mid-20s male software engineers. We’re both often out and about enjoying the city. When we’re home after work, we’re friendly but want our space to relax. We bring friends over and look forward to getting to know you, but definitely want someone quieter who won’t bring the party home.
Move-in would be 11/1 earliest, but can be flexible for the right person. We’re trying to lock down that person sooner rather than later. Fill out this Google form, and I’ll get back to you ASAP with next steps.
