Semi Retired. Operated my business 19 years. I like to stay active. I am diligent about takeing regular care of my home, my dog and my friends. I am told I am amiable/passive what ever that means. I have a rule. All disputes by either party are discussed at a set time. Usually no alcohol involved. At my age I didn't intend on a housemate. I have a lot of unused space. I do not waste. Housing and rental market in Decatur continue to climb. This will be a process for me. I am confident there is a good match for this property and location, The room has been vacant about a year while maintenance was performed. Last tenant was 18 months. Job loss. Prior was 15 years.

Ground level walk out to patio. Washer/Dryer on same level. Cleaning service every other week.. House mate experience for more than 15 years. No one is perfect meet me half way.
Fully functioning kitchen, deck with grill on main level. The room is 17X15 estimate. New, paint, flooring, closet has been upgraded.
Parking is parking in Decatur. Single drive. Access code allow entry to the room via the garage.
NON SMOKER. i tend to be a clean person and my home is the same.
What has worked well is someone who works a 9:00-5:00 most of the time with occassional work at home. Negotiable. Community is tucked away in the 66 units. Neighbors are great. I would prefer a gay male. 2300 square feet provides space for privacy. North Decatur at Church Street. especially if you get up early.
Example: I would not start a load of cloths in the washer located outside your room.
Prefer a backround check, credit rating. All about circumstances.
