Alexa M - $1,200/month

Hi there! I know it’s a little early, but I’m starting my search and wanted to put this out there. My name is Alexa, and I’m looking for a room in NYC, ideally in Astoria, Queens or the Harlem/Morningside Heights area in Manhattan. I’m also open to other neighborhoods in Queens or Manhattan if it feels like the right fit!
I’m hoping for a February 1st move-in, but I can be flexible by about a week. My budget is around $1,200 per month.
A little about me: I’m 28, quiet, easygoing, and like keeping shared spaces clean. I work a fully remote 9–5 for my day job, but I love spending my free time out and about, especially when the weather is nice. I’m also an artist, so I enjoy drawing, painting, and sharing my work. I’ve lived in NYC for 4½ years, but I’ve been in Mexico City for the past few months and am excited to be back!
I love exploring the city, including walking, running around, finding cheap eats in Flushing and Chinatown, dancing, and going out on weekends. I’m single and have no pets (though I’m definitely a cat person!).
