Gabi R - $2,200/month

Hey, I'm moving to NYC to start my job as an associate consultant in January 2024! I'm looking for a roommate to live with in downtown Manhattan with a year-ish lease. I'd also be willing to consider apartments in Brooklyn, but really would like to stay downtown. As of now, my monthly budget max is $2.2k (would like to stick to $1.8k-$2k, though).

I totally am okay with simply living with someone just to live with them, but developing a friendship (watching movies together, chatting, etc) would be great!!

I have a cat, so I need a roommate who is pet friendly. His name is Toast and he is very well behaved, does not scratch furniture, and is super sweet! I will obviously be the one taking full care of him.

A little bit about me:

- I grew up in the midwest but am an avid traveler and love both new adventures and new people! I speak 3 languages and am half-Italian as well.

- I LOVE cooking and am a huge foodie. I really would like to find an apartment with a decent kitchen.

- I'm not quiet but I'm not loud, either. I will never have more than one or two people over at a time, and If I do, I'll make sure that we're respecting your space, time, etc. I enjoy playing music in my apartment, but I have headphones, too! I will be working from home M/F, so that's something to consider, as well.

What I'm looking for in a roommate:

- Someone who is mature, respectful, and considerate

- Keeping a home clean & tidy is important to me, especially when sharing an apartment. Living with someone that also is organized and clean is essential. However, I totally understand that we are all busy and occasionally may leave a thing or two out. :)
