I hope you're enjoying your day :) I am looking for a roommate to move in End Dec-Jan. This is a Great spot in Alexandria between Groveton & Kingstowne, quiet neighborhood, nice yard, friendly neighbors, an easy commute to many stores/highways/old town/DC, but with a calmer and less urban feel. This is a home, so no need to share hallways, worry about parking, lost packages, or have neighbors right on the other side of your walls. I will be your only roommate, so no need to worry about sharing cramped spaces either.

Nestled on a peaceful cul-de-sac in a desirable Alexandria neighborhood, a lovely large 1,800 sq ft home with spacious outdoor space, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a new roommate! If you're looking for a comfortable, spacious place to call your own with a friendly vibe, look no further.

Your Space:
You'll enjoy a 11'x10'($1375/mo), with a closet, big front facing window and room for a queen bed and night stands. There is plenty of natural light, without having to worry about direct morning sun. Furniture will be removed, so there will be room for your own things. If you prefer an all-in-one price(util included), then I am sure we could come to an agreement.

For those working from home, I am currently changing the 4th room over to use as an office space, yet we could negotiate rent so that you could use it as your own office. This would also allow you an extra closet for your belongings.

There is also a smaller third room, with a futon, closet, and large front facing window, perfect for when guests are over.

The home features a wonderful flow with main-level living and upper-level sleeping. You'll love the abundance of natural light throughout, the spacious living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen. The kitchen is truly the heart of the home, equipped with a gas stove/oven, beautiful granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances perfect for whipping up your favorite meals. With two sliders leading outside, it's easy to enjoy indoor-outdoor living. There are beautiful wood floors on the main level and cozy carpeting upstairs to keep your feet warm in the morning. There's room to spread out as the house offers plenty of space with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, plus an office and abundant outdoor space.

Creative Corner: An expansive art studio/multi-use space is a bonus for anyone with a creative spark! It is attached to the garage with heating/ac.

Outdoor Oasis: Step out onto your stamped concrete back patio, perfect for relaxing. The front and backyard are dotted with mature trees for shade. There is also a firepit and charcoal grill ready for your use – ideal for evenings with friends or quiet enjoyment. Edison bulbs hang over the patio to create a relaxing vibe.

About Your Future Housemate(Marc):
Hi there! My name is Marc, I am a 45-year-old government employee working full-time Monday-Friday, and I've happily called this home and neighborhood my own for the past three years. I have one indoor cat who is very friendly, though she does take a little time to warm up to new faces. In my free time, I enjoy relaxing both indoors and out, playing games, enjoying the firepit, creating art, grilling, and discovering new spots around town.

Who I’m Looking For:
I’m seeking a respectful and responsible roommate who:
Has full-time employment.
Doesn't have pets (I already have a sweet cat!)- Is not allergic to cats.
Is willing to not smoke in the home. (Outside okay)
Is fine with occasional guests.
Values cleanliness and is willing to help with house chores.
Enjoys hanging out, but also appreciates having their own downtime.

The property is managed by a professional company, making everything smooth and easy. Your name would be added to the lease, which runs until September 30, 2026. I’ll be happy to connect you directly with them for their standard credit/background check. I have already paid the deposit, so we can work that out later.
